I found the shoes to be on the heavy side and not really suited to a hard surface like the Otago Rail Trail. The shoes were hard on the feet at the 10km mark.

I have size 13 wide feet and I purchased the shoes specifically for a trip overseas. We averaged 12-15 km walking everyday in cities & tracks across Europe and Japan. I never got sore feet and they were remarkably comfortably for all day use.
Replacing my existing ageing Moabs - though they're still good.
Disappointed this shoe was not waterproof but otherwise satisfied
These are my husbands go to for work, probably onto the 5th pair. Straight out of the box and away, he's on his feet most of the day, they are comfortable supportive, hard wearing. He is hard on footwear and these go the distance.

Impressive and comfortable. Should have bought boot version though as the higher cut holds your foot back better on steep downhill.

Good fit, really comfy and quality is really good. Only thing I would say is that the laces could be a fraction longer.
Would be nice if the mid boots were also available in wide.
