I use Merrell boots detecting for gold in Far North Queensland. I use them because they're extremely comfortable, and they have no metal bits within the boots that the detector picks up. I've bought plenty of pairs now. It's rugged country up there, so they don't last too long, but they're still worth the price. Cheers

Nice and comfy, great boot
I already had a pair from 2 years ago Foolishly I thought they would be the same. Not the case. narrow fit , extremely large opening around the ankles, obviously made with someone who has elephantitis of the ankles . My old pair felt like slippers from day one, these feel rock hard and stiff. I'm not going to keep them Very disappointed.

Great casual option for a day out with a bit of roaming without needing multiple shoes.
I destroy all footwear, had a pair of normal MOABs which have held up well go daily punishment from me and are still holding together but getting worn enough to replace, hoping these boots last just as long look great though

Fantastic boot. Super comfy and warm. Now my partner wants a pair.
Second pair. Although they only lasted about a year and waterproofing was compromised after about 6 months, the fit was good (could be a little wider) and I like the boot style and versatility, so I bought another pair. Also had a similar somewhat lighter waterproof Merrell Chelsea boot no longer made—too bad!
I have just bought a second pair on special best boot ever very comfortable well constructed boot bought last pair 5 years ago wear almost every day and still plenty of use left in them I highly recommend this shoe
