I use these for every day work as a physiotherapist and general walking and beach running. Amazing durability and proof against the weather. Could not believe how water/rain proof they are. Highly recommend
It is really what I expected from a barefoot shoe! it fits perfectly, lets me feel the terrain, and gives me good grip. and in the city my feet feel less tired

Good shoe, would recommend for a beginner to barefoot shoes, but a bit pricy given it's not the most durable shoe. Try and find it in store to try on as sizing is a bit unusual. (Shoe clinic for NZ)
Most of the hype around barefoot shoes is fairly true, comfortable for all day ware and all day standing and walking. Super grippy shoes, never insecure on concrete, and on all but steep clay and wet rock outdoors was always quite secure.
Prefacing with the fact I wore these most days for over a year, the cosmetic problems came within a month or two, the wear problems after about 7 month to a year. Covered well over 1000 km in them over mostly concrete.
Had some small issues at first with the extra heel rubber causing a small bit of rubbing, just had to adapt gait a little bit to heel strike a bit less.
But the real issue and why despite being very happy with the shoe I wont be buying another pair is the durability. A lot of the stitching up top began to fray quickly despite normal wear, giving a messy look, not a deal breaker as all the parts stayed together. Had some peeling of the rubber sole around the edges, mostly cosmetic, although hard to clean. But the inner and the outsole wore quickly, the inner is seemingly a thin layer of fabric, followed by a thin layer of foam, then the rubber. The fabric and the foam wore quickly, leaving me with a foot shaped hole to the rubber, once again not that bad given the nature of the shoe, but the lugs on the outsole wore quickly, within a month or two was just flat rubber, then within the year a hole had developed in the rubber at the heel. Shoes still wearable, but no longer suitable for trails.
These are great! Light, simple - they make me feel like I'm in control of my steps. My feet run quite hot, and these have proven to be able to reemain cool thus far.
Would recommend to anyone!
Super comfortable shoe. At first I thought that ordering a half size too big was a mistake, but it makes for excellent comfort and flexibility.

The Merrell Trail Glove is my perfec in RC ont shoe. Able to be warn every day, no need for socks, cool to wear, they breathe and don't get smelly, comfortable, go with almost any thing, and can be used to walk securely on almost any terrain. And my wife says they look on-trend and good. Who would have expected that? I love them so much and wear them every day, I felt 100% sure she would definitely spoil the fun and tell me they looked rubbish, but for once we agree on something I like to wear. Incredible.
Love these shoes. The grip is sensational and is the perfect shoe for the off road event I have in February.
I can’t stop wearing them so thoughts are I’ll definitely be back in for another pair in the new year.
